Philanthropy by Madison & Company in Kailua

One word....GORGEOUS. Nicky and Rylee welcomed us into another beautiful boutique. The merchandise, the decor, and the energy is worth the drive into Kailua. I especially loved the aquaponic garden that emphasized the theme of philanthropy.
A day with my dearest friend Angela is like a present-anticipated, cherished, and full of surprises! We rarely see one another but when we do it seems like I just saw her yesterday and it turns out to be the best day.

Cinnamon's Family Restaurant

People make a trek to Kailua for their red velvet pancakes and I understand why. They are fantastic and so worth the drive into the windward side of the island. The drizzle of the white chocolate sends my taste buds into overdrive. Tasty pesto fritata and a light and delicious mahi sandwich satisfied all our palettes.

Cupcakes Galore

Pretty little cakes for a pretty store. A new cupcake is displayed each week in the gorgeous boutique, Philanthropy by Madison and Company.

Pecan Bar

If you like pecan pie, you'll love these bars. The cookie crust with a blend of brown sugar, flour and butter is divine.

Paesano Italian Restaurant

Handsome restaurant with a wide selection of dishes to satisfy any Italian craving. The Eggplant Parmesan was delicious but I believe I can make better. Nevertheless, we gathered to celebrated Maria's 30th birthday and she enjoyed every bite, especially the chocolate mousse cake
