- My fascination with cupcakes began on a visit to New York's Magnolia Bakery. Anna and I stood in awe as bakers prepared rows of perfectly shaped cupcakes frosted with a huge mound of pastel shade frosting. What a pretty sight! I am a 39 year old wife and mother from Hawaii.
