Peanut Butter and Jelly Bar
A sweet version of a well loved combination from childhood. Definitely satisfies the peanut butter craving!
Lemon Chicken Soup with Spaghetti
A twist on a classic. Ridiculously easy with rotisserie chicken diced and added to the broth. Loved the way the lemon brightened the soup's flavor.
Chocolate Spice Cupcake
Who ever thought of combining chocolate and ginger is a genius! Too good to be served right side up. Flipped, drizzled with luscious chocolate ganache and decorated with a special garnish of crystallized ginger. Delicious!

Dawn and William
7 months pregnant and looking great! Lots of blessings for the newlyweds, new homeowners, and expecting parents. This is their other baby Chico, an American bulldog and not even a year old yet who loves kids and doesn't realize his strength as he topples them over wanting to play.
Yakudoshi/Maneko Cat Cookies
I keep telling myself, "This is the last time!'' after spending hours in the kitchen icing cookies and then I see the expressions on their faces as I hand over the cookies. Then I sigh, "It's all worth it." I don't think people realize the time, energy, and sweat that goes into baking.
Not only did it take a whole day to decorate the cookies but an hour of Japanese writing lessons from Ms. Nomura, art lessons from Maha, and a whole day of practice just to make sure they were good enough for my sweet friend Gwen who was throwing a Yakudoshi party for her daughter Jennifer.
