Gwyneth Paltrow's vegan version of a thumbprint cookie calls for barley flour, maple syrup, canola oil, and crushed almonds. Incredibly good for you-sweet, not too decadent, and satisfying and just pretty to look at!

This meal was worth the drive from the other side of island, in the rain, and in traffic! This is the BEST pizza on the island! And since you've gone through all the trouble, get the pastrami and cheese, you will not regret it!

Temple Offerings

A visit to the temple includes an offering. Bright orange and yellow marigolds and tiny birds which you release when you reach the alter are your choices.

Worms, frogs, fish on skewers were some of the food items sold at the market. The sight, smell, and colors were intoxicating.
