The House, Luang Prabang

The BEST meal of the trip was at The House in Luang Prabang. Belgian chef and owner infuses French cooking with traditional Laotian dishes. The first course of tomato soup was divine and the meal just kept getting better, ending with a chocolate dessert which was rare in southeast Asia where fruit is served as the last course.
