Chewy in the center and crispy on the edges! Surprisingly easy to make with so many ingredients but pleasing to the taste buds. Sweet from the evaporated cane juice and gloriously spicey from the cinnamon and ground ginger, even Anna liked it!
My fascination with cupcakes began on a visit to New York's Magnolia Bakery. Anna and I stood in awe as bakers prepared rows of perfectly shaped cupcakes frosted with a huge mound of pastel shade frosting. What a pretty sight! I am a 39 year old wife and mother from Hawaii. I have been a teacher for 17 years and turn to baking for stress relief. I adore Martha Stewart and have found all her baked goods to be excellent. I have never witnessed a frown on someone who had just received a cupcake . They are the perfect size of goodness!
