Good news-Zippy's is now selling malasadas. Bad news-I live right across the street. If I were to leave Hawaii, this is one food that I would miss! I LOVE malasadas!

- My fascination with cupcakes began on a visit to New York's Magnolia Bakery. Anna and I stood in awe as bakers prepared rows of perfectly shaped cupcakes frosted with a huge mound of pastel shade frosting. What a pretty sight! I am a 39 year old wife and mother from Hawaii. I have been a teacher for 17 years and turn to baking for stress relief. I adore Martha Stewart and have found all her baked goods to be excellent. I have never witnessed a frown on someone who had just received a cupcake . They are the perfect size of goodness!
